JRK Residential group is hiring Leasing Agents to join our team. The Leasing Agent is the first point of contact for all residents, guests, staff, vendors, and visitors to our community.

Experience is important! We need someone with experience working in residential rental communities. While not required, you get Brownie points for: having a bachelor's degree, property management experience with a proven record of achievements, student housing experience, and/or using property management software.

What will you be doing every day?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing apartment tours to prospective residents
  • Collecting info and processing rental applications
  • Completing inspections of the properties and apartments
  • Helping to ensure apartments are in immaculate condition for new residents
  • Responding to resident work orders, suggestions, requests, etc.
  • Posting marketing for available apartments
  • Completing market surveys in order to maintain awareness of the competition
  • General administrative/office duties
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Complete assignments with deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely customer-service oriented

  • Respond to leasing inquiries from prospective tenants
  • Show apartments to prospective leases
  • Providing property statistics and leasing information
  • Show property and apartments to prospects
  • Meet or exceed leasing goals
  • Touring the property with prospective residents
  • Prepare leasing documents and contracts
  • Show apartments to prospective clients
  • Assist Leasing Agent in leasing of apartments
  • Demonstrate property amenities, model apartments and available apartments
  • Providing administrative and leasing support for assigned property
  • Meet or exceed all leasing goals
  • Generating and handling traffic, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments and preparing lease documentation
  • Assist in the leasing activities and resident relations
  • Complete all lease paperwork with future residents
  • Showing properties to potential tenants
  • Achieve the target leasing goals established for the property
  • Qualify prospects and lease units
  • Follow company policies for all leasing procedures
