Job Description

Do you have experience working on HVAC systems, or performing maintenance on facilities? If so, we would like you to apply for our opening for a Maintenance Tech in Dunwoody, GA.

Responsibilities will be: maintaining HVAC systems in the apartment community, assisting with apartment turns and work orders, repairing plumbing, appliances and electrical services.

*some weekends required*

To apply, please demonstrate that you have at least 2 years of experience with this type of work, that you have an HVAC certification and experience with electrical, plumbing, appliances etc.

Requirements include:

  • Strong HVAC experience including trouble shooting, replacement of compressors, condensers, fan motors, air handlers, etc.
  • Plumbing experience including water heater diagnose and replacement
  • Strong appliance experience including laundry equipment
  • Electrical experience
  • On-Call- address all maintenance emergencies in a timely fashion
  • Assist with apartment turns and work orders as necessary
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Locate and repair defective parts
  • Maintain and order repair parts
  • Diagnose and repair all refrigeration equipment
  • Provide electrical service and/or repair to customer units
  • Perform building repair and maintenance activities
  • Dismantle equipment/machines and make proper repair
  • Discuss repair, maintenance and applications of equipment
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs
  • Handle routine repair and maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair all capital equipment
  • Disassemble fire protection equipment to repair and maintain systems, and replace or repair defective parts
